- Most retailers have displays or catalogs of clay tiles, they do not have in stock: you may have to wait a long time for certain styles, so plan accordingly.
- Alway buy more tiles than you need-the rule of thumb is to add 5%-these reserves for cutting the wrong size or breaking while cutting.
- Before you bring the tiles home, check the cartons to be sure the variation in the shade of color in the tile match.
